Hello everybody!

Today I would like to show You my latest work - beautiful bust from Nutsplanet. I was working on him since december and after almost 2 months, he's finally done. I've really enjoyed painting him, because sculpt and all the details are just stunning. I can't wait for next Nutsplanet miniature on my desk.

do you paint in oils or acrylics.

I've done him in acrylics (99% Scale75 colours), but I've used also Dark Brown and NATO washes from AMMO by Mig on golden and red armor.

How on earth do you do eyes like that?

First step is to paint upper eyelid with black and lower with pink flesh color. Then I cover all eyeball with Kommando Khaki (Citadel) and highlight it with Birch (Scale75) and Birch + White mix. Next step is wash on lower section of eyeball (Kommando Khaki + Blood Red) and making a tiny spots of very diluted Blood Red in corners. After finishing eyeball I paint Iris and pupil and make tiny white dot on it - light reflection point.

what made you shift colors from blue to crimson on the shoulder blanket

I didn't change color of this blanket, it always was crimson Maybe it looks like dark blue on one photo in WIP thread, but it was black (primered only).

Dzięki, miło to słyszeć co do farb, o których mówisz to nie używałem ich - opieram się głównie na Citadel i Scale75, ale jeśli uda mi się dostać Testorsa to na pewno je sprawdzę.
