@ Roger. I am not living in England ;)
and Dan: I will try at the weekend (if it is sunny :D) to make some photos outdoor

@ Dan: With the lights. I use lamps during painting to see where the highlights and shades must be and proof so if I had painted at the correct places.

But what I mean was that I paint not much highlights and shades when the figure is in a great scale. If you have a look at a great figure in the sunlight you will see that the sunlight makes his own shades and lights on the figure and I try to paint my great figures in such a way that my painting supports that effect. It is difficult for me to explain it in english and I hope you have understand what I mean.

@ Marc. You use "Blue Lights" to make your pictures? I use daylight lamps, but have sometimes problems to find the right white balance for my camera. And another question: Is your background in the box white or do you use different colored backgrounds?

@ John: Thanks a lot. It was my first horse in scale 90mm

Yes, i use blue lightbulbs. Some call them daylight lamps. They had a colorspectrum around 5400K and that is real close to the 5500K where the flashlights are build for.
My background is white, and sometimes i use a colored. Then the camera had some problems. The lightmeter is made for 18% grey. So, if you put a blue card or a white card behind the figure, the lightmeter is calculating everything back to 18% grey. That's why a white background never is white, or you must change the settings in the camera with the white balance.
I choose for PS, wich works very quick.
