Surch the net with google but all i get is a front vieuw.
So if anybody could help me on the front and rear vieuw of this Grenadier and the flag of this regiment (gonna remove the gun and replace it for a flag).

Please any help is welcome.

Hello Marc,
Although it's not my preferred period (I am a nap student, as always declared) I have something of other histories. So I give you these images, hoping to be useful
Copy quickly, I cannot leave them too much time, I have almost finished my space on the share site.

Marc, it's an interesting idea, but keep in mind that Regimental colors were carried by Ensigns during this period. Grenadiers made up just one company of a regiment, the rest being battalion companys along with a light infantry company. It's unlikely that you would see a grenadier private carrying a flag. Additionally ensigns wore a cocked triconerd hat along with a sash.~Gary

Would a private be allowed to carry the colours if the ensign was shot ot killed? :)
I guess at that point it would be up for grabs. :) ~Gary

Hi Marc,
I did not understand what figure do you want modify and paint... You tell something of a box art, but of what figure?
Anyway Gary said right, usually Grenadiers did not hold flags, carried by Ensign men. So, you can make a couple of figures, the standard bearer and a grenadier occasionally escorting him, if there is another soldier produced in the same scale...

Thanks Guys,

So, i spent yesterday the whole evening to remove the gun and make a flag. So it is all done. Now i read that it is almost impossible  that he carried a flag.
So, this is the figure:

Hope you can excuse my stupidity.

Hi Marc,
Your figure has a tricorned hat, then he could be the standard bearer. I cannot see well the uniform, then I cannot say your difficulty about giving him the sash, and or other changes to make the Ensign dress. What figure is this? What scale?

Hi Marc,
As I said, this is not my preferred period, so I don't know well these uniforms. But the figure produced by Sparta is it historically correct? Although is named grenadier, he wears a tricorned hat, not mitre as I thought for grenadiers. Besides, on the book I took the images, the 28th regiment does not have the white galons showed on the sleeves of the Sparta soldier. These galons are really on other regiments, but not on 28th!
So, it's better wait for a suggestion from a planet member expert in British uniforms of that period, before continue to modify the figure.
Regards
M

Marc, The only two problems I see are that he's an enlisted man, and that he's equipped for winter weather. In 18th century north america campaigning typically ended for the year until Spring. During this time soldiers would be in their winter encampments. The only exceptions would be small scale operations carried out by Rangers or other irregular type forces preforming scouting missions etc. Go ahead with you project and enjoy it. You've probably learned or at leat got more information on the subject than what you bargained for.~Gary
