WIP United Empire Miniatures Volksturm

Here is the new project- the box art for UEM's Volksturm. Its a 1/9 scale bust with 4 configurations- 1 is bare head; 2 is wearing a M43 cap; 3 is wearing the helmet; 4 is either the M43 and holding the helmet or bare head holding the helmet. In all he is holding a panzerfaust and has a K98 over his shoulder. It's an unusual one- looking at the face he is a bit older than your average recruit. I've done the cleanup and started with some airbrush work on the torso. The first picture shows the bare head version.

If you contact Mike at United Empire, I'm sure he can fix you up with a kit. He had a few at the Dallas show a couple of weeks ago. The sculptor, Pavol Ovecka (Offo above) has a link to the thread with more pictures of the original sculpting.
