Hi Guys

Well its up date time at The Basement and Adrian Hopwoods Facts and Figures Site.

On The Basement we have just added 5 new articles including Adrian's Silver Medal winning Minotaur and how he did the paint job for you to read with a new Editorial written for us by Mike Harbour. The articles cover everything from Fantasy to Military figures, whilst Mike discusses if there is astill a place for the Model shop in our towns and cities, or do we do most of our buying at shows.

On Facts and Figures the guest modeller this month is Fraser Gray a well known figure amongst the modelling community and this is one of twice when Fraser will guest as his modelling skills do cover quite an extensive range. Plus the conclusion of two in progress figures and the start of one or two too.

The "Basement Boys" as we were affectionatley named at euro will be about this month at Letchworth Showcase, if you don't already know us stop us and let us know what you think, and if you feel that you would like too, ask us how to contribute to the site.

Hi all

I thought I would reply to this thread rather start another as its update time yet again on The Basement

We have three new articles for you this time and also during the time since the last update we have added 15 new reviews of new and not so new kits.

The Articles are by Steve Walker, his absolutley stunning Germannice Warrior, see a sample pic below, a how to paint Tartans by Dr MIke Thomas and a show reoprt by Adrian on our recent visit to Newark Show.

Plus a how to in the tips section by Dave Ashby, double gold medal winner at Euro this year explains how he paints faces in acrylics.

We are at the moment looking for articles to publish in the coming updates, so if you fancy a bash or maybe just a have a reaview of a figure for us contact us we will be only too happy to hear from you.

Well again its update time on The Basement website, lots of work gone into this one, theres a bunch of new articles to read, from Steve Walker, Robin Snelson and a bumper Show Report on the Bath BMSS show.

We have also added over 700 pictures of reenactors and pictures from museums mainly the Leeds armouries into the resource section for you to look at and hope fully will help you out with uniform questions etc.

Our calendar is now up and running in tresource section so if you have any shows or speacial occasions you would like to advertise please drop us a line and we will include it.

There is a big influx of kit reviews planned for next time planned to go on with a alot of simple little tips from the Basement Forum members., so while enjoying this time remember whats to come.

Update time again

Hi All

Its update time again and we have a couple or more treats for you over at TB, something that we have lal been waiting for the first installment of Dave Maddox's By The Sword Divided, its a great read and Dave lets us know how he went about the construction of the piece painting to follow in part 2.

We also have new articles by Adrian and Steve walker aswell as a show report on Sword and lance at darlington where there was quite a gathering of "Tha Basement Boys" along with a gallery of over 40 pics.

Well its been a while, we have just updated The Basement with six articles including:-

An SBS on the Fire Industries Pumpkinhead sculpted by Sean Green and painted by Adrian Hopwood.

The long awaited Antwerp Figure painted by The Basement Boys in one day to give to Johan for his welcome and all the hard work he did for us while we there.

Euro Update at The Basement

Hi All

We have today uploaded our Euro Militaire Show reports and gallery, there is over 100 pictures including some of us enjoying our get together meal on the Friday Night.

There is also an additional 550 pictures been added to our re-enactors section in resources, these pictures are very useful for research and to see how equipment looked and sat on a real person rather than a painting, we hope you enjoy them and if you need bigger copies of these then please contact us

Hi All

Well The Basement has been updated again.

This month we welcome a new writer to TB, Conrad (known as Prawnpower on most forums), we have a great article by him on his Golden Demon entry "Nurgle Champion" lots of great tips in this piece well worth the read.

Also there are three more articles two by Adrian Hopwood and one by Catherine Wood. Adrian's are on a Military Subject "A lancer Trumpeter" and a Fantasy Subject "The Deep One" both cracking reads and finally but by no mean least a great article on a Greek Bust by Catherine.

To round off we have 18 new reviews with lots more to come next month.

Hi All

Update Time Again

Well its that time of the month again..

We have updated the webzine again this morning with 6 articles.... which include

2 great show reports, one on the AMSS Antwerp show with over a 100 photos and a written report by Rob Lane, the other on Darlington Sword and Lance with over 50 pictures and a report by Adrian.

4 figure articles, a new article writer joins us this Sam Scoles, a nice Anime figure by her, Rob lane talks us through his sculpting and building of his Pilot figure and two articles by Adrian, a Harton Bust and a Demoness figure
