very nice start Eric, but i believe it is not finished.
You have to do more highlight and shading. You started that allready but it is not enough.
If i see it correct you paint with acrylic. There are very hard lines between the base the shades and the highlights.
You can get rid of it by painting very thin with your basecolor.
Sorry for being so hard on you.....but i only give my opinion.

And it's much appreciated Marc, no use in putting work up if you can't take critics to learn from.
These are actually done in Humbrol enamels, the horse was also done with oils.
I'm sure I could learn a lot more to become a better painter, and I feel I'm right in the process of that.
I'll have my work cut out for me once my Vallejo Acrilic sets arive and starting up learnig to 'master' a new medium than what I'm used to up till now. On top of that I'm affraid I'll also have to learn to become a better photographer. It (my camaera or my way of photgraphy) dulls and equalizes a lot of color unfortunatly.

I think I'll leave this one as it is and hope to improve on a next model.

Thanks for the comment.

EDIT: DARN Marc! Now I can't look at the pictures anymore without thinking:
"That's a good start but it needs a lot more diffrent shades". So Point taken :-D
(Just orderd Danilo Cartacci's book Figure Painting today so that should be a good help).
