Thanks Jim. So the vests were/are not issued in desert cammo, just woodland?

thanks, Roger

Roger,
The flak vest on this bust was produced with the woodland scheme...a tri color or chocolate chip pattern cover was then ordered to conceal the flak vest with the uniform. Unfortunately distribution of the cover was the issue. Some folks had to wear the woodland pattern vest over the tri-color uniform until the covers caught up with them.
Is it wrong to have a tri color uniform with the woodland pattern vest, no...actually its more the norm than you think.
The cover was a freaking pain to put on; nine times outa ten, the cover was the wrong size for the vest. Plus, the vest protects you no matter what the scheme is and that is all that matters, trust me!

Hope this helps...

All the best!

Patrick

Or in Patricks case we had one especially made in the Don Ho pattern. Again protection is the essential element.

Larry,
Was that the tried & true "Waikiki Warfare" pattern we're not supposed to know about? Oh, to have a character head (in any scale) of LtC.Kirk .....
