First post in a long time US Navy Seal Bust by Airborne Miniatures. Painted with Vallejo and Tamiya acrylics and a wee bit of ink. Badges were down using decals I printed, call sign badges are made up based on the real thing. Looking the model itself, I painted the base colour for the MARPAT was too yellow, I should have gone with Vallejo Stone Grey or Tamiya Deck Tan for it. The pattern is also way too large and I do admit that I had square eyes after it!

That's a cracking job Steve.
The colours of the camo look spot on.
I like the mesh effect on the helmet as well.
Youve managed to bring him together well.

Is that you in your Avatar with your "company car"?

Hi Gells, The mesh effect was based on a lot of makeshift camo painting that was happening at the time, using netted laundry bags. Yeah that's my mug on the avatar in the company car. I did have a pervious model in 'racing green' at one point, which had a lot of extra features such as a 30 mil cannon and a chain gun ;)
