Hi everyone,
This is a little diorama I have made, ore worked on from "REEDEES miniatures"
I was already looking for a long time to find something about D-Day Point Du Hoc" but you don't find that so easy, till I find it from Steven and that is a must have for me,so I buy a set.
Once it was here I see it was not so realistic because it was a bit to low,I wanna make it higher and have talked about this with Steven, from the miniatures ,but it should be to big for shipping to the customers.
So I begon to think to make it higher (not to much) and make it higher with wood and pins (steel)
This one must be first done before I start to paint the paratrooper from MMM 200mm
The pictures you see now is what I have made and have done to make it realistic as possible ,
It's the first time ever I have done this, and have done a lot of research on you Tube to make everything.
-I made 2 ropes from steel wire and put the enter hook on it,like it was on D-day
-made a rope ladder with tooth pics
-the water I have made with silicone and Isopropanol

- the gras is from jute rope and color them
- the rocks are made from plaster and cut them out
you can see everything on the pictures, thank you

Brilliant job Mario, love the rock face and accessories you've made and the figures look good. A great piece of modelling, love it.

Cheers Simon

Hi Mario

Good to see all the work that's going into the piece , clever use of things like tooth picks , plaster etc ....that grappling hook looks lethal!

Good basework effects

Thanks for sharing the details and pictures

We can now see the Completed piece here : https://www.planetfigure.com/threads/rangers-point-du-hoc-reedees-miniatures-1-16.609683/
