I added some more shades and highlights on the jacket. Also some structure for blending effects.

The rightside is done now

Here the SBS for the goggles.

Step 1 primer in white or grey

Step 2 paint the goggles itself with acryls. You can add some black were the glass goes.

Step 3 Tamiya colour X1, X19 and X27

Step 4 mix them in a ratio about 1:1:2

Step 5 paint the goggles with the mixture diluted with isopropanol. The paint is rather thick so if you added to much you kan “blend” the colors with isopropanol and diluted the black acryl paint in the progress.

Let it dry

Step 6 add some “pure” X27 for more red

You can got back and forward with step 5 and 6 until done

There is some fine transition work there Martin - very impressive. Colours are all good too.

Hi Martin

I would be more than happy with the resuit ..as Phil says great transitions and a nice display piece

Why not enter a piece into the class of your choice in our FOTM comp and also vote in previous months classes as well as voting in Vignette & Diorama comp #2 ...

....And enter in Vignettes & Diorama #3 which will be set up for 1/5/21 running till 31/01/22

Always good to see the artwork

Thanks for sharing

Look forward to the next

Happy benchtime
