Hi all

Hereby my current in progress
The alpine 1:16 USMC figure in a really nice dynamic pose

The face is done with abteilung 502 acryls and the rest with vallejo and AK 3th gen

I’m planning to make the pants plane green because the camouflage pattern is a thought thing and I find it hard to make the shades an highlights on it pattern

I’ve found some reference so I thing that combination is okay.

Hi Martin,
I really like what you've done with this model so far - very good rendition of the US camo pattern and a realistic feel to the whole work.
Something was nagging at me since your first post, though, and now I finally realized what it is:

If you look at these USMC jackets, you can see that the reverse camo pattern (here the "brown" side) was visible at the lapels, but it also showed on the rolled-up sleeves,

while your Marine sports the same pattern on both sides of his sleeves and lapels...

Now that this load is off my chest, I can relax and follow your progress.

Cheers
