Very well done. The uniform looks good. Herring Bone Twill (HBT) can be difficult to paint, but I think you got it right. I especially like your work on the helmet straps. Small details like that are often overlooked, but whe they're focused on, they really make the figure.

The only reason I've held back from getting this bust is the screwy shape of the steel pot. Otherwise I'd jump on it!

Thanks very much for your kind comment Joe.
I've dug out my book on the M1 helmet, and can see your point regarding the side sweep of the pot.
One can also add the lack of thickness of the liner for this period.
However, since it proved a such a fun bust to paint, I'll turn a blind eye to the 'small' discrepancies.
