That apparently easy khaki green uniform is, in reality, anything but. You've nailed it though.

I can see what you mean about those decals - they make a world of difference.

Excellent job so far. Perhaps some chipping on the buckles on the shoulder straps for the radio? I was a Marine Corps CommO in the early 80's and that was one of the things we had to cover up with M-Nu for inspections...real pain in the ass!

Very nice work Tony.....I've had this in my stash for quite a while along with the decal sheet that I see is from down under. Like how you repositioned the smoke canisters for balance. It is an excellent looking kit but to be honest I don't know why I bought it. Maybe because it was my era and lost friends.

I applied a stipple coat of Josonja texture paste over the face prior to priming. It creates a nice texture that replicates stubble.

I was wondering as well...nice tip.
