Wonderful work Ron, love everything about him but the flesh looks amazing.
Look forward to seeing him in the flesh.
BTW if you find out how to base him let me know, I will be after you for a good base.
Cheers Keith .
Been out working in it the past two days ,wrapped up that much I look like a German stuck in Stalingrad ,especially with my East german Smock and and Russian fur hat with the floppy bit for the Ears
Hello Ron, I agree with the others about your fleshtones, they look great. I also like the white shirt and red sash. I can see your point about displaying, or basing these V busts. As a suggestion, you could try to make it look like a 3 dimensional cameo, something like doing a flat. If you don't use the stone-like stand, it could be placed in an oval shaped base, or cameo holder, which in turn, could then be placed on a wood block/base, or even a suitable frame. Here are a few photos to hopefully show what I'm trying to describe:The oval bases/cameo holders come in many shapes, patterns, and colors, a black painted one would show great depth and relief of the bust. A background, inside of the holder, such as a map, or flag, or something relating to the bust, might also work. In any case, I hope you find a way to display this piece, its a stunner. Regards, SG
