Hi Janne, not familiar with the vallejo version but Ihave been using the Winsor Newton for a couple of years . You would just clean your brush as normal , rolling the brush on the side off the container at a slight angle for about 30 seconds ,you will be amazed at what comes out and rinse brush with soap and water afterwards. It can't lift the paint of yor work or slightly disturb it if you don't get it out of the brush. Your brush life will drastically increase with this stuff.
Cheers
Paul

Paul turned me onto this stuff a few years back and fully agree w/ him on the use of this product. It has saved many a brush for me. The best stuff out there that I have used. Thanks again Paul..see you in Chicago I hope.

I use Masters brush cleaner:

You just wet your brush and gently work up a later by rolling it form side to side. Then rinse in cold water. It really brought some of my brushes back to life. I have saved brushes that I thought were just toast. I have even used it on a brush that got left and had the paint dry on it . I worked the brush as usual an just let it sit on the brush for an hour and when I came back and rinsed it it was like it had never had dried paint on it. Wonderful stuff and it will last forever. If you want to give it a try just get one of the little ones, and see how you like it.

Hi Janne the Winsor Newton stuff is liquid . Keep in mind that its meant for artist with larger brushes than our so a bottle will last forever. The small bottle (approx 1/4 litre) is probably about 4$usd which would probably keep you going for the next couple of years. I do afterwards use the cleaner presever that Jeff gave the link for to get the residual WN out. Very cool stuff. You will be disgusted what your brush gives up in this cleaner!
Cheers
Paul

Roger, you can use either Johnson's or Rustin's Brush Restorer. at a cost of around £2.50 for 1/2 a pint. Cheaper than a beer in London!!!!
Carl.
