Here you can see a useful shortcuts for painting almost any Flesh & Skin Tone you wish using just 11 paints from Vallejo Acrylics. 8 hues from Model Color as Base Flesh Tones to start and 3 from Panzer Aces for making the Shadows and Highlights. The combination are endless! Check the video, make your own experiments and let me know. This is something like a teaser for my upcoming book on Flesh & Skin Tones Mixes. Here we have used the Model Color Set Face & Skin Tones 70.124 and the Flesh Tones from Panzer Aces (Base Flesh 341, Highlight Flesh 342 & Shadows Flesh 343). Of course do not forget to Use the magical medium Glaze Medium 73.596. Please have in mind that all hues can be purchased also individually. Hello Brad and all planetarians,
I gave some explanation in the video. As you will figure out this is a "teaser" for my upcoming book about Face and Skin Tones that will include most of the well know producers of hobby paints.

I have some questions:

Do you prefer to have some examples on figures (face and skin) with also details for eyes, hair, beard? ...

..Or to have a lot of painted examples but less recipes with painted chips (BSL system)?

If I included figure painting for all mixes the number of the recipes will be reduced significantly.

What do you prefer?

Also do you think must included oils and enamels in the same volume?

Thanks for sharing this, it's a really handy guide and just what I need to help with a project.

Re your questions, for my part I like the idea of recipes as making my own mixes is something I struggle with. That said, I'd also be interested in more clarity on other features, particularly hair. That said, the main issue I have with most of the books I've seen is the tendency to skip steps without explaining how you go from one to the other, as long as you avoid that I'll be very happy.

It says "acrylics"......flip the dials,...It's either one or the other....
