Hi Paul,
I'm really happy and proud that you like my realization on this wonderful sculpture you produced .
I chose to represent a soldier of Private Lee's Additional Continental Regiment encamped at Valley Forge in the winter of 1777.
This is the reference print taken from the book "An Illustrated Encyclopedia of Uniforms from 1775-83 - The American Revolution War."
I look forward the production of the other two sculptures by Mike Blank always with the theme "Valley Forge".
Do you have any news when they are planned for sale?
Ciao by Maco
Hi Maco,
I already have the master for the second figure. It is a drummer boy sitting on his drum - cold and weary. And, when I say boy, I mean a boy not a man. Mike did a fantastic job capturing the body structure and body positioning associated with that of a boy. I will 'productionize' it in the coming months and will post here on PF when it is ready. I have already sent a casting to Mike for box art painting - unfortunately not in time enough for WE. But, Mike says he will have it painted for Chicago. For the third figure Mike is planning an officer. So, there will be a variety of heights and a variety of uniforms, etc in the three figure vignette.

Hello Maco, Excellent workmanship on your painting of this figure and base construction. Here are a few colored plates that may help for future uniform references. Regards, SGView attachment 165986View attachment 165987View attachment 165988
