I'd say plain is the way to go on this,else it's going to distract from the bust IMO

Hi Steve,yes I did think about that,the reason I wanted to add detail on the exterior was I did'nt just want it to be plain on the outside,I'll try and keep it simple if I can,I tend to get carried away and forget what my original intension was,,thanks for your input mate

This is a unique setting for a bust, fantastic idea. I don't know how good the translator was I used but you could all try this for a slogan.

Wanted russian snipers - for internal use? yeah that will work well as a title, hehehe. They did insert few things into Wermacht for sure

Great idea. In my opinion and its opinion alone, instead of rubble infront I would do a destroyed brickwork wall. Then you could also have an nice broken window he would look out from - few shards of glass etc. ( Dont know if this may have been discussed already, I cant be bothered to read all comments)
