Well Brian ,had a look at your colours range for this one , Blimey was there a colour you didn't use :D (y)

Ron
Hi ron,i thought i'd put the colours down as someone asked me once before about colours i use,i was'nt sure about the new GW range but i'm really happy with them now,the oil colours are the ones i always use for 90% of my painting,i did'nt use straight red at all in the project, all the brickwork was done with a mix of GW Jokero Orange + Doombull Brown.

I forgot to mention in my original post that the base is one of yours, the first one i had off you,i did have it for another project but used it for this instead, once i have the nameplate i'll send you some pics (y)

Hi nick, the neat white on the edges is supposed to be a light frosting from the weather conditions, the rest of the fur inside was replicated as a dirty brown, the flaps have been painted in a light brownish colour (not white),the white is the frost / snow effect (y)

Hey Brian, what a stunnimg bust and creative presentation. You've redefined the bustarama concept. I love the dirt and grime. It's not only visually interesting it really helps sell the idea that he's a veteran combat soldier. I love the realism and the setting. An outstanding example of bust painting at its best.

Missed this for a while and am delighted with what I see now. Stunning Smudger you have really brought it all together and it is super. Love what you have done with him and how the rubble almost covers him, just great work mate...............Sure to be a Gold at Euro next year in the new Busterama class.
