I picked up a friend at the Hamilton Warplane Heritage Museum this afternoon and Vera (the Mynarski Lancaster) landed an rolled up - too cool!

They are a thing of beauty even though their conception was for death and destruction. I am lucky where I live as we often get the odd Spitfire and, my favourite, Hurricane fly over returning to base or heading off for a display. Rarely, but it does happen, the Lancaster is with them and the Dakota from the Battle of Britain Mamorial Flight.
