The trousers and boots are finished, apart from some weathering powders. The basecoats have been added for all of the torso. A summer oak leaf pattern will follow on the smock.

Nice work Martin!
How did you like this figger? Was there a lot of filling needed anywhere? This has always been a favorite of mine and am really looking forward to seeing what you do with him. It's always hard to tell from a catelog anything about the figger.
Hope all is well

Thanks to all for the replies. Patrick, this is an easy figure to strip off the blocks and assemble. There is minimal sanding and it had no air holes. The only mistake I made was to not fill the seam on the arm/shoulder join. The smocks were 1 piece. This figure is just a practice piece for my Wittmann dio. I would suggest getting this figure as you should enjoy all steps of its completion

More work done on the oak leaf camo. Highlights and shadows needed.

Happy to oblige, don't be scared by all the clean up needed. This is just a test figure. I will be making the real one for a diorama depicting Wittmann and crew prior to the Normandy campaign ;)
