That marine looks pretty good. The helmet looks a little smallish but I have not been interested in a Verlinden figure for quite sometime. This one might be a must have! ;)

Sorry but I don't like the Marine figure at all. First, as already noted, the helmet looks way too small. Second, it looks too much like it's been put together from recycled parts from other kits: the legs are from their 120mm Iwo Jima Marine (the one firing the Tommy gun from the shoulder) and the arms (with some minor reworking) and head look almost exactly like those from their Easy Company paratrooper.

The figure looks cool to me...
it is one of the better figures from Verlinden's recent releases, IMHO.

I just want to know why there is a WWII Pacific Theater Marine roaming through the burning oil fields of Kuwait?

It doesn't look like a rehash to me, I normally don't give verlinden figures a second look but this one looks nice for sure, realistic pose too.

G'day fellas,..I rather like the Marine, yes his helmet dose look to small, can be replaced... Can live with his neck, seen plenty of necks like that in sport, alot could be done with this figure.

Phil......

Really like the Marine, wish it had a different weapon though, like a BAR or a flame thrower & where're his dog tags? Now that I look at it closer I think Jason might be right about the neck a replacement helmet or a thin layer of MagicSculpt OVER the existing helmet could offset the thickish neck. I like Rosengrant's too! How do you like his USMC BAR gunner from the Korean War? Really nice.

(paraphrasing another old post) ...an iraqi reenactor ?
