The figure is based on a picture of pioneer officers of k.u.k. Infanterieregiment „Maria Theresia“ Nr. 32 (Budapest) in the Italian theatre. Let me share a nice colorized version by Sándor Almási:

The pose is a bit static, but for me that is more than compensated for by the quality of the sculpt and the fact that it's an unusual subject that (as far as I know) hasn't been done before.

The only thing disappointing for me is the pudgy features of the face. Yes, the colourized photo used as reference and inspiration shows a wide head, but this is more about bone structure/musculature than what has been presented in the sculpt.

I am pretty sure that the third from the left, is Christopher Lloyd, the actor from "Back to the future, during his military service in Austria, all the movie tells is true, time travel is possible!!!
