Hi To all, here goes my work for this entry.

US Cavalry 1870´s Hidalgo-Beneito miniatures, 54mm, white metal figures, resin base. Ref: MD-42, with the addition of 1st Lieutenant W.W Cooke, Ref: S14-F04 by Andrea Miniatures, white metal 54mm.
All painted using acrylics.
I changed the original guidon design for the one leaved wit the bars and stars at Little Bighorn, the June 25 of 1876.

I'll throw my hat in with a vignette I did several years ago and one that is a bit of a departure to my usual fare.

I never really gave it a name so I'll run with "Vampire Wives Club". The figures are 28mm, the one with the sword and the reclining vamp are Games Workshop, the blue haired one is from Hasslefree. The rug and bench are self made and everything is painted in acrylics.

Hello Pfer's,
Here's my maiden entry into a Planet Figure Competition.

Titled 'After the Battle' Rorke's Drift. It depicts the two VC winners, Lieutenants Chard RE and Bromhead 24th foot.

It was inspired by the late great Rick Scollins illustration.

The original was hand sculpted in polymer clay as well as epoxy 2 part putty plus some 3D rendered part's.

This resin version was painted mainly in acrylics with some oil based paint such as metal coat for the gun metal.

The project started back in January 2023 with the painting of this kit finishing mid August 2024.

Thanks for looking.

Hi

here is my entry: the charge of Cromwell's cavalry towards the end of the Battle of Marston Moor.

the horses are converted Historex horses, all but one of the 12 figures are scratch-built. Here is a link to the build blog: https://www.planetfigure.com/threads/ecw-cavalry-charge.615551/

Here is my entry, an entirely conjectural 'Last Stand of the 45th', based around the Airfix 54mm French Line Infantryman in the centre and many other Airfix and Historex parts. The choice of regiment is because of the 45eme standard, kindly donated by Richard @DaddyO Baxter.
There are eighteen figures, although one of them ,the Porte Aigle, is obscured on the ground by the tall rye grass.

I am relatively new to true scale modelling as an adult having had a 45 year gap since building solely aircraft has a kid. I started up again, thanks to the lockdown in 2020.
My scene shows two young German soldiers who took a wrong turn while on a supply run at the end of the war and ran into an M5 Stuart tank of the 761st Tank Battalion, D company who on were on a reconnaissance mission. The figures are by Alpine Miniatures, Rado Miniatures, and PANZERART
IMG_5378.jpeg
. The tank is by AFV club.
