Hi David,
I had the kit from David Parkins and it was cast Figure sitting on saddle,Horse fore including neck and head and horse hind. Altogether 3 peices and then, 4 lower horse legs, one horse tail,2 lower arms,2 boots,a skull peice as decoration for the horse,a shield and sword.
I think that was about it.
Its a pity that it wasnt better thought out in the sculpting/casting stages as the whole thing was rather a pain, although it is beautiful sculpting by Peter Morten as are his other 2 Highland King and Viking mercenary both of which I still have in my closet.

David,
I have painted the mounted Viking by David Parkins and have to say "Its the worse mounted kit I have ever done. I had to drill each leg and peg it to the horse and after finishing the horse had a peculiar pose. I ended up mounting the finished figure on a sloped base to offset the unusual pose. If you need a pic of my painted version let me know and I'll take him out this weekend and shoot a few pictures.

Hi David,
Another way,its try to found the old Phoenix (from England),range of Wikings, they
are sized in 54mm,and designed by the well know designer Tim Richards.Very
good figures.
Regards,

Tomas
