Hi!

Yesterday I grabed this bust (previous primed) and after 6 hours without any concerns about the painting and the way I do (until now) my figures i finished this gem from Nocturna Models.
All done in acrylics, starting from dark to light as I do in oils to give the cold look face, with lots of blood and snow.....
Sincerely is not my favourite painting but was the best for me until now because i put aside all fears and anxieties that sometimes occur in my painting - the fear of failure after so many hours spent on a project.
Let me know what you feel seeing this bust!
Thanks in advance,

Pedro.

I like it....the hair looks almost real and I kinda dig the snow effect also. Nothing to be sad about here, good job on a cool bust.

I like it Pedro!
It really is strange how fear can keep you from finishing pieces. Glad you managed to 'just do it'. It makes things much more fun. It's a hobby after all, so what should we be affraid of?!
I hope you manage to keep it up!

Cheers,
Adrian

Sd, Bob and Adrian, thanks for your comments.

Adrian, fear is a strong and inadequate word coming from a guy who defeat so many thing until now in life.... is strong to say that but is my nature, sometimes i´m quite exaggerated.
I like to do my things right and as you know this hobby requires to much time... and these days i dont have much... and as you know if you make any mistake... you ruin so many hours of work and you have to start all over again and i dont have patience....

cheers folks!

Pedro,
One of the best rendering of Blond Hair that I've ever seen.
Most are usually too heavy with yellow but yours is spot on.
Great job!

Hi Pedro , the fact you mentioned that it only took you 6 hours to finish made me look at it with a more critical eye and in all honesty the only thing I would change would be the random pattern of blood splashes being too evenly spaced apart. Excellent painting of the eyes , facial tones, metals and hair, you must of been in the zone mate great job.

Cheers Ken

Nicely done, Pedro. excellent piece, but I agree with Ken about the uniformity of the blood spatters.
Great work on the eyes!

Ken and Mark, thanks for comment my work.
Regarding the blood patches you both are right seems more camouflage than real blood.

Cheers

Pedro, what a great job you've done here.
I am used to your superb painted pieces and this one certainly is another gem of yours, the work on the metals is incredible, make it seem very real.
cheers

Stay tuned my friend Daniel, next work will be a Napoleonic.;)
Thank you for your comment, glad you like.

Cheers
