Hi
Earlier this year, I dicovered a range of kits which although I had heard
the name I had not paid much attention, my interest being mainly fueled
by offerings from either Andrea or Pegaso.

So to the kit it is a "biggie" 90mm beautifully sculpted of a Viking Hersir
which from the sheet tells us that he represents a warrior of middle rank
probably a landowner or at best a local chieftain.
The facial expression is one of enraged determination as he wields a large
axe whilst standing on the broken remains of a heavy door.

The fit of parts is excellent and there are quite a few, small details cast separately such as nasal guard and hair braids. All credit to the sculptor Adriano Larruccia
and the unsung hero that did the casting.
As you have already guessed I thoroughly recommend this kit.
There is a painting article by Mike Blank in a back issue of Historical miniatures
what more could we want.

Frank,

Do they have a website? This figure sounds like it might be my "cup of tea"

Cheers

Then you have a "Hird", not an army. (y)

Next is to do a shield wall or a svinfylking(swine array).

Regarding the soldiers Viking which is superb although I wouldnt have minded a bigger shield and a longer cape.
