I've just started paint these viking made by soldiers. face is painted by oils, beard and hairs instead by acrylics and helmet is polished metal past with oil.
now I think taht next step will be to strengthen the shadow of his beard and hair with dark washes, make some lights on helmet.
I'm trying to give the piece an aggressive effect but I'm not entirely convinced of the surrender .
I wait for your comments and suggestions.
