Hi everyone

Kevin Dunne has sent me another look at a piece he has purchased recently .....he likes the subject as he also bought a copy from a different company

This version of probably of an artist everyone will say if asked to name a famous one .......It is of course Vincent Van Gogh

A talented artist whose works include

Starry Night image.jpeg

The Bedroom image.jpeg

And of course Sunflowers image.jpeg

As well as many personal portraits

Van Gogh by Limbo Miniatures, Australia.

The second bust of Van Gogh in my collection, Limbos offering is a beautifully rendered cameo of one of Van Goghs self portraits (he did over 40).

The casting is superb...no seamlines, no filling needed. The face is finely sculpted and cast as is the suit and tie dressing.

Consisting of just 2 pieces in gray resin

Scale 1/10th

What I find attractive about the body is that it mirrors an actual painting but if simple enough to allow for myriad conversions.

Van Gogh, Art and Emotion is a large format book on the painter which has numerous high quality color representation of Van Goghs work and also tell a good story of his life and struggles.

Hey Nap another nice review from Kevin of something different. I also like the box art using Van Gogh' style, a brave decision that works really well.
