What can I say that has not been said already? You have made this single figure into a little vignette. I really like it and have enjoyed just looking around at the different things in the scene. I really like the tone that you have painted the figure in and I think you have done a really good job in making the straw look just like it should. I look forward to seeing it in Valley Forge.
Please send me an e-mail, [email protected], because I have an e-mail I would like to foward to you.
Wow thats some feedback!!! Thanks a million for your positive comments my friends !!!!! Its important for me to have this kindof support from more experienced painters than me . These 2.5 years i have been painting figures have changed my total theory on whats modelling and whats art. Now i only see hundreds of figures to be painted ahead......nothing else !!!!
Costas,my dear friend,
1. AWESOME PAINT JOB on the entire vignette !!!
2. The dead mouse is an INSPIRED touch !!!
3. Like Gary mentioned, the "straw" looks really authentic !!!
4. I just LOVE all the animals that you'd put in the scene !!!
All in all, your BEST work yet,my friend !!!! Well deserving of all the praises heaped on it so far. WELL DONE !!! Cheers !
Kenneth  .
(BTW,I just got my new camera yesterday,so an update on my current project will be posted soon.)
Costas...what can I say..?...your poor hands must have been aching as much for the models as the injury...what a great little single figure vignette...so much to discover...and that hungry looking cat...
Hey Costas,
I was looking over your pics again and noticed the rust you put on the doors of the coop. It looks fantastic! Can you share how you did it? Thanks in advance!
