A Fixture
Friends from pF
Today i received one figure that was on my wishlist for a long time. The Von Blucher bust, sculpted by D.F. Grieve, from the line "Waterloo Commanders", formely avaliable from Debra Raymond and now from CGS Military Figures, of Graham Scollick (Gra30 here at pF).
Gebhard Leberecht von Blücher was the commander of the prussian armies at the Leipzig battle and at the Battle of Waterloo, the final breath of Napoleon. A military leader, with fierce posture, v. Blucher was the first recipient of the Star of the Grand Cross of the Iron Cross, the greatest german military honour (the only one besides him to receive it was Hindenburg, a century later).
Enough chat and let´s go to the pictures.
The box.
Contents. Pedestal, bust and colour painting guide.
The pedestal, in metal. Heavy
The painting guide, with two sheets.
The bust itself. It is casted in a single piece, no assembly required. And absolutely no flash, no mould marking, nothing! Just wash it, prime it and paint!
Medals and face are superb.
A preview of the final result:
That is it guys. Any questions and i will be glad to answer.
