WIP W SS gun team, Kharkov. Alpine miniatures 1/35th

[Viking Bob]

As some of you may know, I have a thing for Napoleonic's and Victorian British army so this is off the beaten track.
I like these two from Alpine and as soon as I saw them I wanted to paint these two. Excuse the bad photos, promise I will post better ones soon.
Quite a bit has been done to the ammo carrier and the groundwork is nearly complete.

May not help but for me; Scarlet for the parka and Dark Blue for trousers.
What colour do you call that base coat?

As for the uniform ..don't listen to Keith it's blue to red trousers........lol

Some more work done, ignore the peg, its covering the hole for the other figure. A little more to do on this one and then he will be complete.

No Nap, back to Napoleonics on the next one. These will be weathered when I have them both done.

WWI, WWII and later are not my usual areas of interest so I almost missed this thread. It's looking good Bob and I really like the groundwork.
