The Model Cellar would like to announce the official release of our 75mm WWI British Work Party figure. Sculpted by Carl Reid, this is a follow on piece to our 75mm British Artilleryman. The figure portrays a British Infantryman as part of a working party. He wears the waterproof cape and thigh length trench waders. This figure is patterned after the familiar photo of the working party waiting for orders in the rain at St. Pierre Divion in November, 1916 during the last phase of the Somme Offensive.

sculpted by: Carl Reid
Box art by: Dave Maddox
scale: 75mm
Resin cast

Hope you like it.
regards,
Paul

Another great figure of Carl.
I hope what will be successful as it deserves(y)
A small detail, however it is not sure that this very famous photograph shows British soldiers. And even artillerymen. Some think they are Canadian CEF and especially the corps of engineers.
These soldiers then belong to one of the pioneer battalion.
