Arrived and in mid-prep! Great figure; even if you do need a degree in Engineering in putting the MG42 together!

Hi.

I like this bust but I don't want to make a "SS". Can someone tell me if the fur parka was used by Heer units ot if it was only used by waffen-ss units ? For the color, can it be painted in white ?

I think that the non-reversible M 43 winterparka with Italian camouflage pattern was just an SS-item. Whatever - winter clothing was precious and if you could obtain something like this on the battlefield - why not keep it. So there might have been exceptions from the rule. If you convert the bust into German Wehrmacht you have to think about changes to the helmet cover as well.
