Hello, everyone.
I'm making this figure now.
(WAFFEN-SS SCHUTZE 1945) 200mm figure of WARRIORS.
I make the beginning with a ground work.
Grass is kept much this time.
The process of the making was indicated with a picture.
The assembly of a figure was very easy.
It's a camouflage with the complicated pattern by a package.
However I make it white clothes to paint.
The back is mouse gray.
I think progress after this can be introduced immediately again.

Looking forward to seeing this figure develop. Are you sure about the green plants? After all, the soldier is wearing a winter uniform so you may want to consider snow and dead vegetation instead. Just a thought.

Hello Hikaru,

good start on this rise, but please note that this figure stand in the Ardennek, Poland, or in Hungary at the winter 1945. Here aren't plants like this. Please, watch the pictures by atachment.

I'm looking forward to see it painted.

This plant is made of vinyl.
Paint for models is enough for painting.
It's a big figure, so I think a chance using an airbrush becomes a lot.

I think so much grass doesn't grow in winter, so I'm thinking these to paint in the color of the hay.
And powder of empty snow will be sown.
I think I don't make it a green ground work.

I think that white clothes aren't judged from a picture.
My setting seems to have been a little abnormal like the time.
The pattern of the example of a package seems general as expected.
Almost no grass also seems to grow by a coniferous tree a background.

Black was blown first and later was blown by an airbrush.

excellent construction so far.

Yes, you can do the plants in winter time, but large leaf on plants, I don't think there would be that many.

Perhaps less leaves, more "straw" type grass through light snow.

i have attached some photos from a Google search to show what I mean.

This would help add to the feeling of cold and barren.
