After a period of 24 hours,I started the DRYBRUSHING (HIGHLIGHTING) of the camo smock.
First of all, choice the aproprieted colors ( more lighter than the camouflage colors ).
Using aproprieted brushes ( wide flat ones ),dip it into a oil paint.Test on a clean soft paper, with a twisting motion :
A) If the brush leaves streaks it´s still to wet.
B) If it leaves blotches, the paint is too thick.
Using a pushing, twisting and jabbing motion, occasionally brushing,on the raised areas of the camo smock, taking care to avoid the recessed areas, you will notice the raised areas and move on to others.
See the pictures that show the process that I used:
1) The "drybrushing paints" ready for application :
2) Testing the paints :
3) Aplying the DRYBRUSHING :
4) The final results :
See you in the next topic!
