Hello Chris, I sculpt in magic sculpt IMO the easiest material to use. For tools I use dental tools from Alec Tiranti Ltd,also small sharp & large blunt needles glued into end of dead paintbrushes. And a no.3 scalpel with no.15 blade. I have a basic mannequin in 90mm that I press mould when I want to start a new figure, just drill the pieces & join them together with wire ( 1.6mm). If you want one you,re welcome.
best wishes Garyhiggins

Hello Chris, I put the promised manequin in the post today. Iam sorry it took so long, But I have been tearing out what remains of my hair trying to get out a job that took Waaaay to long.
Best wishes, Gary.
P.S. Iknow they do a 54mm manequin at El Greco.

Some simple scale charts...

I use these when working up armatures and checking dimensions, lengths, etc. All of these were posted at one time on PlanetFigure, so I can't take credit for any of them. Hope you find them helpful and keep at it!

All the best,
Dan
