Completed Critique War Photographer 1971, Vietnam (1/10, Life Miniatures)

Hi all,

Here's my latest project, "War photographer" bust from LIFE MINIATURES. This bust is modeled on a famous Larry Burrows, but I didn't try to portrait him, I just painted as I wanted to. This is a bit experimental project, I've been conscious of "A bit Photo Realistic". while I was painting. Hope you like it. Any comments and opinions are welcome, as always.

Just beautiful, with wonderful photographs. I am so glad
you included the photo with your fingers in it to help the
"New to the hobby" planeteers realize the scale. Just the
painting of his jacket with all that subtle shading of highlight
and shadow is worth the price of admission. I realize this
bust is a beautiful piece of sculpting. But you did the sculptor
proud. One of the nicest reditions of this famous bust that
I have seen, here. You sir are a true artist. Wow!
