Warg-Beast of the Middleearth

The monks are just finnished, I will attach photos later to their topic, and now I would like to show You what I've started to sculp betwen one frair and the other
If some of You have seen the LOTR by Mr. Jackson You'll easily recognize that this is the Orc Raiders "Steed"-The Warg. It's a mix of the movie version and my own imagination (that i had in my mind before seeing the movie, but after reading the book ) For now the head is almost ready. The eyes are painted in red temporarely.

It's 54mm, the Warg is pretty big thing, as big as a horse amd so I tried to sculp it-as big as a 54mm scale horse Now I'm worinkg o the body, as soon as possible I will show new photos here.

Fierce lookin' critter isn't he (or maybe she? ). Coming along very nicely. There are so many interesting subjects in LOTR, they could keep a sculptor going for years.

Heh, yes I know, I was thinking about sculpting a Dendroid but it's a bit difficult to me at this stage of my sculpting abilities Now I'm going to finish this Warg and then sculp a raider for it.

After a long interval I've returned to this project sculpting the body. I wanted to achieve a look of a fast running beast and I think i've done it? But tell me please what You think guys!

It's belly needs to be thinned a bit. After that I will add claws and than his fur. And finally i will start sculpting an Orc raider.

Well i've decided to rework orcs cloth-and I gave him this chain mail, and on his back some warg fur (for some reasn they should have this on their back...). And here it it. I hope finnishing this project this week. Than I will sculp a rohan standard bearer as the prey for this here orc raider.
