Guys, I have just received a e-mail from supposedly, 'GordonMitchell' , as in MitchesMilitary !.. in my normal e-mail account. Stating I have a private message.... please be warned, Its a hack! ..and I have just been stung! Delete it ASAP!

Do you mean telling you that you have a private message from Gordon waiting in your mailbox here at pF?

I never click on links in e-mails - just in case.

No, Nothing to do with PF! so all ok there,... Just a normal E-Mail! .. I was in contact with Gordon, before I joined this site! ... The bugger (The Hacker! not Gordon), just 'whacked', and blocked, my personal contacts! and started to use my address book as a 'BOT-NET', some of which had me hopping around a bit, this afternoon. , .... Now sorted! ....... It was purely a damage limitation exercise, for those that do have Gordons E-Mail, saved to address book.

I would change the password on your, presume its a free web based email, account. Think Bot-net is the wrong term as it doesn't really make any sense in that context. Spam is a better choice.
