Hi,

I´ve sculpted another fantasy miniature. It´s inspired by warhammer artworks an shall represent an Empire Warrior-Priest.

It´s 54mm tall and was made out of Milliput, Fimo, Green Stuff, lead and plastic sheet.

I highly appreciate any kind critc, comments etc.

Cheers, Simon.

It is a very interesting concept, the sculpt is very beatifull and nicelly detailed, I especially liked the book hanging on the side, and the broken archs as a setting is very good.

Excellent sculpting! The details are great, but what is really good is the pose and the body language. That axe/hammer looks really, really heavy! Excellent! Looking forward to some paint!

Hi,

Thank you both very much!
As soon as it´s painted I am going to post it...however I think this will take some time.

Cheers, Simon.

The figure is excellent. Are you going to paint the armor to look like like metal? The only thing I do not care much for is the pillar/ partial archway, it looks very flimsy. It does not have the solid look you would expect a piece of stone architecture to have. ~Gary

I like the armour, It's looks very clean and fine, especially in shoulders and hands
As Anders say, the axe looks really heavy, maybe by be supported in floor.
Infinite possibilities of painting.
Regards

What a pity it is a one of :( as I would have loved to paint one! It is a GEM believe me!!! Bravo!!!!

Ray ;)

Awesome sculpting Simon...clean and full of fine details. It looks great.Maybe I'd have used a smaller and flat chain..but please don't take this as a criticism on a so good work, just my personal opinion..

great job Simon and i like how you managed to get the chain mail to look like it has hollow links to show through.

Beautifully sculpted figure! Great pose and great details. I agree with what Gary said about the archway, but a small detail on a fantastic sculpt!

I really like this. So many times when people do larger scale War Hammer stuff it just does not work for me. The over size weapons are what really ruin it for me. This figures hammer while large looks like it could still be wielded. Great figure.

Hi,

Wow! Thank you all very much for your nice words...your feedback really means a lot to me.

@garyjd: Yes, the armour will be painted in a pretty dark metallic colour. I have in mind an overall quite dark colour sheme.

@garyjd, Sambaman: Yes, the base is not yet finished. Actually I don´t intend using this base as the final one as I´m planning to do a little diorama in which this mini will be a part of.

@skydive53: Yes, the chain is probably a bit too big... I used the smalest chain I could get hold of. Otherwise I think it´s okay for a fantasy miniature but I definitelly wouldn´t use this chain for a more realistic mini.

@rej: Appart from the fact that I´ve no clue of casting it´s always a bit tricky with commercializing GW based stuff....quite a pitty.

Cheers, and thanks for looking, Simon.

Hi Simon...chain or not...the work you made on it is great! and then I'm out about "fantasy" stuff...
Let's share the progress...
