Water Nymph fantasy art Mil-Mart semi flat

My latest Mini-Mart semi flat. The wonderful fantasy art ‘Water Nymph’ sculpted by Ken Farrar. Definitely an unusual one for me but great fun to paint. Flesh in oils the rest acrylic. Wings painted using Army Painter washes red, blue and purple.

Not to everyone’s taste I appreciate but great fun to do and it’s not everyday you get to paint a frog and a fish

Graham , great work, especially like the wings and the reflective effect in the water.
I just tried using oils on my latest, didn't work as well as yours. Wiped it off and redone in acrylics.

Thanks Ken. I usually make a mess of the acrylic and have to go over with oils

Kev, I've never really enjoyed painting much as I don't think I have the patience.
Some times I get lucky and they photograph well.
I've just bought some new Vallejo Game colours for a new Flat so I'll probably post my painted version in the New Releases forum soon.
