Perhaps it may have been the Sidborne Diorama which is now in the National Army Museum in London
I think that one at Dover went to the Royal Armouries at Leeds. I think it was the second smaller model by Captain Siborne, the bigger one being at the National Army Museum.Steve,
I know this one is at Winchester, Its the one from Dover Castle I was wondering where it had gone. I did ask at the Green Jackets Museum if it was one and the same but they say its not
Mick
No problem Mick - if I remember correctly the scale of the figures is slightly larger at the Leeds model than the Army Museum version - it's nice because you can see more of the action. Thanks Mat, will have to have a look next time Im in leeds see if it rings any bells.
Thanks Mick
