Blimey that's some nice additions particularly line what you have done on the Sapper

Nice conversion , Some controversy over who said those immortal words "The Guard dies it does not surrender"
More likely it was General Claude Etienne Michel who was Commander of the 1st Chasseurs at Waterloo and indeed did die at the battle.

Casmbronne survived the debacle and stated he couldn't have said those words as he was still alive and died in 1842.

Il s'agissait plus probablement du général Claude Etienne Michel qui commandait le 1er chasseurs à Waterloo et qui mourut effectivement au combat.

Casmbronne a survécu à la débâcle et a déclaré qu'il n'aurait pas pu dire ces mots car il était toujours en vie et est décédé en 1842.

J'attends avec impatience le travail de peinture,


Le général Claude Etienne Michel commanded the 1st régiment des grenadiers de la garde , he was in the last square at Waterloo, he died among his brave men. it is surely général Michel who pronounced the word to the English
