I've been a downloading fool this morning. I've really enjoyed the articles in the feature section I think they'll really be helpful in the days to come.!

Have you guys considered creating an instructional video? For guys like me who live in the middle of no-where a video on painting techniques would be fantastic. It's one thing to read about a technique, but it's another when you can see it demonstrated. Sure makes the learning curve easier.

Best Wishes
Steve :)

Steve -

If you are an absolute neophyte and never picked up a figure, I'd recommend the Andrea Painting Acrylics CDROM. OTH, it is so basic that I found it pretty useless.

Craig Whitaker (Mongo Mel) had downloaded some basic oil painting techniques videos at Armorama that you may find useful.

I think the best is to be involved with others and directly observe others techniques and have them critique yours as well.

Well I guess that I'm not that much of a neophyte, however, I am new to the larger than 1/35th or 48th figure world and am just seeking some information. I've already downloaded those videos from Armorauma whe he posted them. I just have some questions that I'd like answered and seeing the process often helps.

Thanks for the information though

Steve
