Hello everyone, here's a quick look at my next project. It's a very old one from Verlinden.
The fitting was not very good but I managed to fill the holes with some putty.

In his right hand there will be a cigarette and in his left hand a big MG42 of course. I was able to chose between 2 kinds of heads. Ik chose this one with the glasses on top. I like this one because he doesn't look like some kind of Superman. In fact he looks very tired when you take a good look at his face.

This figure will eventually be paced in a diorama with a big scale Nebelwerfer (a german type of rocket launcher).

Another good standard figure from Verlinden. How many of these have we all done in the past?????? Keep us posted on your progress, would love to see how you tackle the painting of it.

Here's a small update of the face painted with 5 o'clock shadow. The trousers now have a base color of a mix between german field grey en field blue.
Still a lot to do.

greetings John.

Here is an update of the painting proces a few steps further. I am pretty happy with the trousers and boots. The zeltbahn needs a couple of grey filters. I smoothened the 5 o clock shadow a bit.

Hope you like it so far.

Here' s another small update. Painted some of his stuff. A couple of corrections on the face. The bulletbelt is next, a mix of copper and gold (acryls).
He looks a bit shiny but this will be gone of course after the matt varnish coat.

greetings John.
