fellow modellers,
What brand of Varnish is the best to use,to cover my oils .
I used several brands. revell, Humbrol, ModelMaster and so on. But all are having i slight glossy shine. I really do want a super matt finish.
I did a few hours ago an attempt to finish a face. After two weeks drying time, i covered it with a MATT Varnish (Revell). Then after about 6 hours drying i did another cover with Modelmaster Flat Clear.
Result. The Modelmaster is eating through the layers and is destroying my oils layer.
Now i discovered that Modelmaster is on a Acetone basis.
is there a real good MATT Varnish that doesn't ruin my works, but covers it with a real MATT Layer.
if possible i prefer an Acrylic Varnish.
Any suggestion is welcome.

Greetz,
René

René, maybe seems odd, but I use vallejo mate varnish and is fine for me.
Use it only when the oils are dry.(y)
