Love the 75 mm. My old eyes aren't so good on the 54 mm. And, the 90 mm and bigger metal can get kinda heavy. I'd love to see more 75mm on the market.

I will also mention that I like the MR 100 mm resin pieces, too.

I started off with 1/35th plastic Tamiya figures and mved up to Verlinden resin 120mm figures about 10 years ago. More recently I've been painting large scale (up to 350m) resin figures. In the past six months, I've experimented with Andrea 54mm and 90mm metal figures, and using Vallejo acylics. The effects are very pleasing and I plan to continue with the smaller scales for the foreseeable future. If nothing else, I can paint 2-3 54mm figures in the time it takes me to do a large scale figure, and I don't get bored. The key to changing scales is to always remeber that contrast increase as the scale decreases. The bigger the figure, the lower the contrast.

Cheers

I voted for 120mm because that scale has some of my favorite figure subjects and I am not a fan of the smaller scales. I thought about voting for 200mm also, but 120mm won out.

I think 54 mm is the best scale if you aren't time millioner, and the most modeller aren't. With 28mm and 40 mm figures you can build a biger vignettes and dioramas, and it need feewer time too. But all scales depend from the fashion periods. In the early '90s was the 120 mm fashionable, later the '54 mm, and now, now I don't know :) .

75 to 90

75mm, because my eye sight is not what it used to be.
I also think price keeps me from going too big.
75-90mm seem to strike a nice balance between detail, price, and ease of use.
The Fusilier 80mm pieces are another good example.

I think 75mm is becoming the new 54mm! Part of it are the great releases in this scale...to many "gotta have it" figures! I'd love to see some more accessories in this scale to facilitate conversion work.
