what time was d day?

Hi im working on a piece set d day just before the lights go on to jump, what I need to know is what time aprox did 82nd jump on d day anybody know? Thanks mick

Could I push you to also tell me what time they would have taken off as well how long it took and arrival time plèeeeeeease I know its askin a bit but itd help.no wonder they called it the longest day, lucky it didnt fall on a bankholiday, thanks for the info, mick

The 82nd began dropping at 0115 hrs, but keep in mind that their Pathfinders were already on the ground marking the dropzones. The Pathfinders went in roughly 30 min prior. Flight time was something like 1hr 15 min, but that depends on distance to a given drop zone based on the flight path taken. Hope this helps.
