I agree with Geoff: a WW2 Royal Navy Officer such as the submariner, Lt.Cdr. Malcolm David Wanklyn, VC, DSO or ‘scourge of the U Boats’ Captain Frederick "Johnny" Walker, CB, DSO and 3 bars.

i think a bust of a vietnam chopper pilot or door gunner. the art on the helmet qould be very cool and the same bust could have hundreds of different looks. the microphone and all the wires wow. what a bust.

Something interesting and something financially viable.......

How about WW2 Medics?
military, yet has scope for character to be on with paint (&weathering) and could be from a variety of the forces, allowing for some customisation.

Commonwealth, US, German, allied, axis......

Be a nice contrast, camouflage uniforms, with red crosses on white backgrounds...

cheers

A series of busts (or even demi-rondes) of RevWar soldiers, especially since that conflict featured several different types of headgear: the standard felt tricorn; Scottish bearskins and bonnets; Hessian fusiliers and grenadiers; British grenadier and light infantry helmets; all of the various horse dragoon headwear; the French tricorns (different in style from either British or Continential); etc.
A set of these sculpted in a smaller size - somewhere in the 100-120mm range like the Historex French Napoleonic busts (but with better eyes/facial details) - would offer painters a variety of painting options, and would lend themselves to inventive display opportunities.
On the other hand, I'm sure we haven't exhausted the possibilities for Romans, AFNs and French Imperial Guardsmen yet :D (y)
